Why candy companies?

Hello all my faithful readers worldwide. Just as a side note I really like seeing views coming from places other than the U.S. It means people actually read what I write and it's not just the stupid app tracking my page views even when I told it not to!!!!!

Anyway,ranting time. This is probably going to seem pretty wierd to a lot of you,so I'm sorry in advance.What's the deal with "fun-sized" candy? Their just smaller. SMALLER! That isn't fun!

I mean,maybe for a little kid it would be cool or something.

But,alas,those days of childish wonder are gone. I'm not saying that fun-sized candy is bad. I'm just saying it's rather falsely named. They could just call it 'smaller than the actual thing but were calling it fun to get you buy it'sized. I guess that wouldn't be very good for sales. But it's very misleading and I think it sucks. That is all for the moment. By the way,you guys totally don't mind that I write way to much about the X-men,right? I was considering writing something more about them soon. Please give your honest and non-biased opinion in the comments section. Thank you for your dedication and time.

Three days...

Well,three days until Christmas. I,for one,am quite excited.And just to get you all into the Christmas spirit... Things I noticed about Rudolph the mutated and extremely annoying reindeer!(or what ever you like to call it.)

1: Hermey the "elf"

 Look really closely at his ears. Notice something? Their normal. Not pointed. He isn't an elf. That's why he didn't like making toys and stuff! Freaky...

2: Isn't this movie basically the Xmen?Ok,I know I'm obsessed with the Xmen,but think about it! Rudolph is different and he gets rejected because of it,so he goes to a place full of other rejects who were sought out and gathered there by a flying lion. Now look at the Xmen. Kids rejected because of their mutations,so they get sent to a place full of other mutants gathered there by a guy in a wheelchair. See the similarities?

3: Does Rudolph even care about his friends? I mean,when he leaves the house on the island,he just leaves the door open. While it's snowing outside.They would have frozen to death. So,does he even care? No,I think not.

4:Isn't Fireball basically Barney Stinson? This was pointed out to me by my darling brother and he's right. I mean,look at him

He's blond,the first thing he talks about is the girls,he tries to get Rudolph to go talk to them and stuff... And he abandons Rudoplh as soon as he can. Jerk. You see? Good.

Star Trek Reboot

I must confess something,I am a fan of Star Trek. 

You know,the original series,and definetely Next Generation. That love eventually died down,but when I saw the new movies that were like the back story for the original series,I developed a new found love for the franchise.

The characters were brilliantly casted and written.Here is my personal list of my favorite characters. Oh,and this isn't in the order that I like them. Just random order.

1: James Kirk

He just rocks,ok? He just does. Gaze upon his awesomeness and love him.

2: Kirk's Dad

Chris Hemsworth. 'Nough said.

3: Leonard McCoy

I am speechless. This is what I was talking about when I said 'brilliant casting'. 

4: Old Spock

Now,let's make something very clear. I. Hate. The. New. Spock. He is stupid and not even a good character. The OLD Spock is way better. That was probably the only reason I watched the original series. So naturally I was thrilled when they brought him back!

5: Hikaru Sulu

This is the exact opposite of the Spock thing. I didn't like the old Sulu,but I love the new one.

6:Pavel Chekov

Just look at the picture. LOOK AT THAT ADORABLE FACE! I couldn't not like him.

And finally,last but definitely not least...

7: Khan Noonien Singh

A: I'm not really sure if I spelled his name right. B: Yes,that is who you think it is. And C: KHAAAAAAAAAAN!

Driving me crazy

Ok,This will be short, but I just really needed to get this out there! Ok,here goes.

I was watching X-Files today and something I noticed is totally driving me crazy. Fox Mulder looks a lot like Anderson from Sherlock! At least,I think so. I want to see what you guys think.

Nightcrawler

Hey peoples! Remember in my X-men post when I was talking about Nightcrawler?

Here's the picture in case you don't remember

Remember now? Good.

Well, after I learned about Azazel and Mystique being his parents, I had a lot of questions. So I did the only logical option I could find in my idiotic,random brain. Googled it. I found a wiki page that explained some stuff. 

Apparently, After they ( Azazel and Mystique ) had him,Mystique threw him in a well to hide him from a mob. Later, Azazel admits to saving the boy. After which he gave him to his,and I qoute,'lover and crony' who was a sorceress and she took Nightcrawler ( his real name is Kurt,but I like Nightcrawler) to a Bavarian circus to cover up her powers and stuff. Come to think of it,Nightcrawler mentioned on several occasions in X2 that he was part of a circus and that's how he got the name.

So... Yeah. That's his story. He's another one of my favorite X-men,by the way. Because he's awesome. So now we know. It still doesn't really explain why Azazel was with Mystique. I thought she was dating Magneto. But maybe I'll research that later. MAYBE. It's not a guarantee. Dontblink99 out.

Update: I almost forgot! In case you didn't already know,this is Azazel

Update: Just re-watched X2. Mystique doesn't even seem to recognize Nightcrawler. Either the movies don't follow the comics very well,or she was just pretending not to know him. Or she forgot. Or maybe she got brainwashed. Maybe I need to shut up. Yeah,I need to shut up. Sorry. Oh and another thing about Nightcrawler in X2 is,I find that he is a major drama queen. I can't show you here,but if you watch in the background when Charles is concentrating hard on all the mutants and everyone's in pain during the small part that it shows Storm,the kids,and,obviously,Nightcrawler you'll notice that while everyone else just kind of clutches their heads,he literally falls on his knees,very dramatically. It was great. Well,that's all folks! (For now anyway) Donblink99 out again!

Fall?

So, It's November. Fall. And yet it's freezing outside. Just a week ago,we had snow. This weather is so messed up. So I've decided to just talk about fall (or autumn,if you prefer to call it that) and how wonderful it is. 

Fall is my favorite season. I've always preferred the colder weather myself. So,yes the snow and rain and freezing air came on kind of suddenly, but I love it. And wind. I love the feeling of the wind in my hair. So powerful and yet so gentle. In fact, when the wind gets really strong and the sky gets dark, I enjoy watching everything blow around. To me, wind is an amazing example of God's power. Wind can destroy,or it can help. From tornados to a soft summer breeze,wind is always amazing. I like standing outside to feel the strong winds blowing sometimes. It makes me wish I could fly sometimes. Just ride the wind.

Woah. That was poetic of me. Where did all that come from? I thought I was talking about fall. 

Tornados can be cool too. 

Unless they come really close to your house. We get a couple tornado warnings a year where I live. I mean, it's no Kansas,but tornados aren't all that rare around here. I've never actually seen one in real life. Just in videos or pictures. Not that I ever want to get super close to a tornado. That would be scary. Why am I still talking about this?

Anyway,fall was great while it lasted,and I need to stop thinking about tornadoes. Dontblink99 out.

X-Men

So I was watching X-Men: First class yesterday and it was awesome. It explained a lot about how the X-Men came to be, how Eric became evil, why Charles can't walk, ect. It was extremely cool. 

I really like the X-Men. It kind of shows the power of unity and that being different doesn't make you any less human. Well... I guess not all of them are actually human. Or are they? Are some of them not at all human, or are all of them totally human? Most of them don't really look human. Like Nightcrawler.

See what I mean? But the mutant gene does affect they're appearance sometimes. Like Mystique. So are/were they all human? I guess the answer is probably yes. Cool.

Anyway,with that mystery solved,back to how awesome the X-Men are. They're all pretty cool,but my personal favorite would have to be Wolverine.

       Yup. He's awesome.

Sorry this was so short. I can't really think of much else to say. The  X-Men are too cool to say to much about. For those of you who haven't heard of/seen/been interested in the X-Men, I hope this will help you know more about them. I doubt it though. I basically just told you they were cool and showed you two of them. Oh well, that's the best I can do right now. Might update in the future. Dontblink99 out!

Update: I just learned that Nightcrawler is the son of Azazel and Mystique. So...that's really weird. I never knew that. Just a random fact that I learned today.

My life is a lie.

Hey guess what? You know that adorable "cat" that most girls grew up with and loved, Hello Kitty?

She isn't even a cat.

Yup,that's right. Not a cat. Human in fact. Sorry everyone who didn't know this.

I found this very hard to accept. Hello Kitty was one of my favorite things as a child. I thought she was the most adorable cat ever. But nooooooo,they had to ruin it. There were basically 2 steps to my acceptance of this terrible truth. 

1. Denial

2. Acceptance 

Plus, if she is human, why does she look like a cat? Does she wear a cat suit? Along with the rest of her family? And her friends all wear animal costumes too? And what about where she lives? They say she lives in England, but it sure doesn't look like it to me! ( Not that I know much about what England looks like.)  And, how are will they back up their claim that she's not a cat? Where's the evidence? And why now? Why didn't they say so before? It makes no sense!  Why Sanrio? WHY?!? My inner detective thinks this is suspicious.

Perhaps I should investigate. I will let you know if I turn up anything. Well,thanks for listening to me rant! Dontblink99 out. (For now!)

Update: I've just had a thought. Maybe she's dreaming because she wishes she and everyone else around her became animals! Maybe I should actually look on Google instead of coming up with insane theories. Hey there's a thought! Maybe she's insane and she actually thinks she and everyone else around her are animals. Yeah, that does it. Time to Google it. Shut up, brain.

Update: I'm probably the only person to ever tell their brain to shut up.

Update: So I finally convinced my stupid brain to Google why she isn't a cat. You know what I uncovered regarding why she looks like a cat? It said she was the personification of a cat. And admitted it was going to far to say she wasn't a cat. I knew it! I knew so something wasn't right! Thank you inner detective! Now there's the subject of why Hello Kitty owns a cat...Lol. Nope. Can't do it.

Doctor Who

Hey,readers! In case you didn't exactly grasp this from my username, I LOVE Doctor who! Everything about that show is brilliant! The plot, the actors, the aliens, all of it. 

If you've never watched Doctor Who before,here are some things you should know.

1. DON'T SKIP NINE! (The Ninth Doctor. Yes there is more than one. Deal with it.)

2. It is one of the best shows ever,so be prepared.

3. Beware the episodes written by Steven Moffat. They will be sad!

That's it.Have fun.

As I mentioned in step 1, there is more than one Doctor. Right now, I think there are 13. How? Regeneration, my friend. He can regenerate. My favorite? 10.

He is awesome. And adorable. And intense. And, as I said, my favorite Doctor.

And the Doctor is also time traveller. And he pretty much always has a companion. And everyone is british. Except for Captain Jack Harkness.

Note: Jack isn't necessarily a companion. He travels with him sometimes,but he has other stuff to do. Meaning Torchwood. But we'll save that for another entry.

Now the ALIENS on this show are fantastic! You see, all these aliens are out to kill the Doctor because of various reasons. His main enemy, however, is the Daleks

Oh and remember that blue phone box at the beginning of this entry? That's his time machine.

The Doctor is also an alien. He is a very unique species called a Timelord. Like I mentioned before,they can regenerate. He is the last. There was another one, but he... Oh wait. I'm saying to much. Sorry. Spoilers. Well that's all I'm at liberty to say. The rest is yours to find out if you choose. Have fun my possible future Whovians! Dontblink99 out!

Update: I just saw the end of season 8. I have mixed feelings. Very mixed. But at least Clara's gone.

Concerning cats

When I was younger, I was really good with cats. I had never personally owned a cat, but they liked me,and I liked them. But recently, I've been losing my touch. Certain cats act very, well, catty around me. One of my friends owns a cat that hisses at me every time I go over there. However, as I mentioned, things used to be different. I knew a cat that I lovingly called Socks ( In respect to the fact that it looked like a cat from a book I read with that name. I was informed later that it's name was Skipper, which is a bloody awful name for a cat if you ask me). Socks was a tabby cat. Like this one:

Except Socks had white paws. Socks would come by everyday and sleep on our porch in a big pot meant for plants. But eventually, Socks stopped showing up. It was real shame. I still don't really know why Socks stopped showing up. Maybe she got tired of me. Maybe she died. But there is another cat. This cat doesn't come see me. But I sometimes (rarely) see her. Her name is Nicky ( or Nicki, I'm not really sure), but when she (or he?) is there she recognizes me immediately and comes towards me meowing happily. She never forgets me. But she isn't there much. Oh,and she's fat. A fat cat. And then there was a cat I only saw once it sort of looked like this:

                Yeah,more like that,except it hade startling blue eyes. Like... Like a cat statue. It was the scariest cat I had ever seen in my life. Someday I would like my own cat. Maybe a tabby cat, like Socks. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my little cat chat. Dontblink99 out!
